WordPress Installation – FREE
WordPress can be easily installed within your cPanel using the Softaculous script installer. If you’d prefer, Charlottezweb can install it for you at no charge. Contact us with questions.
WordPress Maintenance – Yearly Program
This service involves Charlottezweb installing WordFence (free version) on your website. It will be configured to send Charlottezweb and yourself a notification any time an update on your site is required. This could be due to a WordPress upgrade, a theme update, a plugin update, etc. When these alerts are received, Charlottezweb will login and perform the update within 2 business days to ensure your site is kept current and secure.
Why is this necessary?
WordPress is one of the most popular platforms in the world. Because of this, it’s often targeted when not kept up to date. The easiest way to address that is to keep all of your components of WordPress up to date. Charlottezweb has some customers where WordFence updates us up to 4-5 times a week of updates to run. This service is for us to run these updates for you (up to 10 plugins and not including custom themes) so you don’t have to. You will receive an email when we login so you are aware of our involvement in running updates.

WordFence Security – Premium License
WordFence (free version) is fantastic but the Premium version has enhancements worthy of consideration such as real-time IP blacklisting, country blocking, real-time firewall updates, real-time malware scan signatures, reputation checks and more.
